Friday, September 21 – East Point
One Gear, No Brakes, Full On Fun

Dick Lane Velodrome

Party people! Spin the District officially commences on Friday night at the Dick Lane Velodrome. Visit Georgia’s only concrete track for cycling in historic Sumner Park, just a short walk from the East Point MARTA station. What better way to kick off an exciting weekend, than with fast-paced racing on bikes with no brakes, only one gear, and non-stop pedaling, plus a huge party?! DJ Yvonne Monet will be keeping the beats all night long, and luckily, we’ll have food trucks, local craft beer & wine, and velodrome concessions to help keep energy levels up. Feeling extra special? The infamous grassy infield will play host to VIP guests who’ll enjoy special access to the DJ, unique beers, and a front row seat to all of the racing action!
