Just outside Atlanta, featuring all the gravel and all the road miles you can eat, plus beer and chili.
30, 60, & 100-mile Road Rides, 60 & 100ish Mixed-Surface Options This fall, join us for the final event of this year’s Spin the District series, the Union City Gravel and Road Fondo. A Fondo means different things to different people in the cycling world. For us at Spin the District, it means pushing you beyond what you thought you were capable of so that afterwards, we can throw a big ol’ party to reward you for all the training, pain, anguish, and success! Our road and gravel events travel through scenic South Fulton, Coweta, and Carroll Counties. The adventure starts and ends minutes from Atlanta in beautiful Union City, home to stunning parks, wide-open spaces, and the country’s largest film soundstage.
For 2022, we’ve spun a wide range of curve-hugging routes tailor-made just for you. Back again are three paved rides: our fully-synthetic Polyester100, smooth-as-silk Rayon60 , and the ultra-comfy Velour30. For those who don’t mind a little dirt on their dungarees, we’re offering the hard-wearin’, mixed-surface Toughskin Open and its crop-length counterpart, the mixed-gravel Denim60. Whatever your style, we have your fit. And no matter which route you ride, expect a hero’s welcome at the finish line, because you’re awesome.
More than a ride. It’s a party, too!
We invite cyclists and spectators alike to join us in Union City after the ride for music, food trucks, and entertainment. We’ve got more surprises up our sleeve, so watch for updates on events (and join us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) as we continue to release details about the full day of fun.
We are working to keep our Spin events safe, respectful, and fun. All of our are events are outdoors in locations with ample space to give each other room. We will have hand washing stations and hand sanitizer available and masks for those who may need one. In addition, posted signage throughout the event area will remind and encourage attendees to mask up when not eating and drinking and maintain a safe distance from people outside their group.
